Marma J Foundation is hosting its first annual MARMA J CON, an in-person conference and hackathon for social good. MARMA J CON will take place from January 7-12, 2023 in Antigua and Barbuda. We even have online activations in our virtual spaces in case you are unable to travel!

Who Can Participate?
From Web3 newcomers to curious minds, interested humans whose hearts beat for social good, or tech-experienced visitors and hackers, everyone is welcome!
Our goal is to create a unique event, on one of the most beautiful islands you have ever seen. We will hack for social good while educating newcomers about the tools of Web3 and how they can improve the world.
Program
Unique to our conference and programming, we are focused on building and learning in the community with local Antiguans. We believe that decentralized technology should empower local leaders to decide how best to adopt this emerging tech to solve local problems. Therefore, our programming reflects both our effort to educate Web2 Antiguan professionals about Web3 as well as our intention to learn from Antiguans about their needs and pain points.
In addition to our action-packed schedule of conferencing and hacking, MARMA J CON also offers several group experiences, including:
- Opening Party
- Panel talks and presentations on social good and Web3
- Hands-on workshops for Web3 newcomers
- 3-day Hackathon with the chance to win prizes
- Introductions to Marma J’s 8 Sub-DAOs

The following in-person ticketing options on the Marma J Events DAO Mintbase store are available:
- General Conference & Hackathon participation (free)
- VIP ticket (select number available)
- Opening Night Party (free)

- White-Dress Party
How to get your free ticket on our Marma J Events DAO Mintbase store:
- To claim your ticket, simply log in in the top right corner with your NEAR wallet.
- The ticket is free, but make sure to have a small amount of $NEAR available for the transaction fee.
- Click on the ticket that you want to buy and press the “Buy with NEAR” button on the right side.
- You will then be redirected to your wallet.
- Click on the blue “approve” button.
- When the transaction has been made, you can see the ticket in your Mintbase “owned” section as well as in your wallet under “collectibles”.
