Guiding You Through Pixelated Adventures
In April, the Marma J Gaming DAO published comprehensive game guides for Pixel Party, Pixel Pets, Crypto Heroes, and Chain Team Tactics. We continued our journey toward mobile gaming, with weekly Crypto Heroes raids adding a competitive edge. The Easter-themed Pixel Party event showcased unique artworks, celebrating the artistic talent within our community.
May marked significant progress as we completed wikis for all games and integrated a widget for seamless access. Our commitment to growth was reinforced as we pitched for the Outliner Ventures Near Base Camp Accelerator, showcasing Marma J Gaming DAO’s potential.
Empowering the Community
June and July brought community management on board, achieving a 94% completion rate for the NEAR Horizon page, and we successfully collaborated with Rogue Studio for an engaging community space.
August was pivotal as we welcomed community moderators, implemented smart contracts for Crypto Heroes raid rewards, and updated our widget. Our game players increased in numbers, highlighting sustained engagement.
Creative Endeavors
In October, Marma J Gaming hosted a Pixel Party x ETH Milan project that invited artists to create Italian-themed artwork on Pixel Party. The artwork was then showcased at the ETH Milan conference. We also embraced a more structured approach to bug reporting and project management during our weekly calls. In collaboration with the MarmaJchan DAO, we also created a VRM guide for Crypto Heroes on YouTube.
Future Plans: A Glimpse Into the Horizon
Looking ahead, Marma J Gaming DAO is poised for groundbreaking developments. We’re gearing up to participate in the NEAR Gaming DAO Grant Program, supporting and empowering gamers and developers within the NEAR ecosystem.

For the tech, we’re transitioning from Unity to BOS for hosting game front-ends, utilizing standard JavaScript for interactions and UI. Our short-term focus includes prioritizing NFT listings on Mintbase and upcoming work on Marma J Gaming on the BOS platform.
