Marma J DAO
Supporting and Developing Projects In The Open Web Ecosystem
The purpose of the Marma J DAO is to make decisions regarding the Marma J Community initiatives.
What is a DAO?
A Decentralized Autonomous Organization, aka a DAO, is a self-organized group that collectively makes decisions on-chain.
What is the Marma J DAO’s Purpose?
The Marma J DAO exists to govern the Marma J Foundation’s community initiatives. Our DAO is comprised of council members who vote on proposals to spread love and positivity in the open web ecosystem.
Is the Marma J Foundation and the Marma J DAO the same thing?
No! The Marma J Foundation is a registered non-profit organization, registered in Canada. The Marma J DAO is a smart contract that allows our team to make on-chain decisions (leverage Web3 technology) for social good initiatives.
Our Sub DAO’s
Marma J DAO Roadmap
What We’re Up To Next
The Marma J DAO’s goal is to support the various sub-DAOs of the Marma J DAO. Each sub-DAO of the Marma J DAO works to spread love, support, and positivity in their individual entities.
#1: MARMA J CON
Set up MARMA J CON as a yearly conference and hackathon in order to support the Marma J Community.
#2: Incubate & Accelerate
Using MARMA J CON as a springboard, and open challenges to channel energy, we will help incubate teams to build projects that support the Marma J Ecosystem.
#3: Adopt $marmaj As Governance Token
Phase Three includes the adoption of the $marmaj token by the Marma J DAO, extending much of the decision-making power to token holders in order to support the sub-DAOs.
#4: Repeat
Use the $marmaj token to continue to host MARMA J CON, incubate, and accelerate projects in the Marma J ecosystem.
